Members & Qualified & Partner Organizations

LAN/WAN Professional is a nationwide organization of professionals and organizations that service the information technology industry.

The organizations that we work with include qualified and partnered organizations providing services to the information technology industry. They include consulting companies, staffing agencies, and schools/education providers. Qualified and partnered organizations are those organizations which either have a partnership with LAN/WAN Professionals and/or have been identified by LAN/WAN Professional as meeting certain minimum standards of quality in their respective specialties.

The following is a description of our members along with the various categories of qualified and partnered organizations:

LAN/WAN Members
Our members are information technology professionals who are passionate about fast tracking their careers in information technology. They include entry-level techs, mid-level professionals with 3 to 10 years, and senior-level professionals with 11 to over 20 years of proven IT experience. Our member's technical backgrounds range from routing, switching, security, voice, wireless, Unix, Linux, Novell, Microsoft, databases, programming, network monitoring, firewall, and messaging along with a wide range of other enterprise applications.

Consulting Companies
Consulting Companies include, but are not limited to, any and all organizations that provide LAN/WAN services ranging from hardware/software design, implementation, integration, migration, support, and troubleshooting including managed services, purchasing, and licensing. Consulting organizations include Cisco partners, Juniper partners, Microsoft partners to name a few. LAN/WAN Professional provides a wide range of services to help consulting organizations and the professionals who work for these organizations.

Staffing Agencies
Staffing Agencies include, but are not limited to, contracting agencies, permanent placement, and headhunting organizations that specialize in the information technology industry. These organizations range from local, regional, national and global providers, from specialty boutique organization to companies handling the full spectrum of information technology.

Schools & Education Providers
Schools and education Providers include, but are not limited to, private and public universities, technical vocational schools, and online learning institutions that offer LAN/WAN related educational courses. LAN/WAN Professional is a global developer of hands-on focused LAN/WAN curriculum. Our curriculum is an ideal complement for the traditional learning offered by schools and related education providers.
